Kevin Keenan

Co-Founder/President

Co-founder and President of Keenan & Sveiven Inc., Kevin has over 30 years of landscape design experience in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Kevin is a 1981 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Landscape Architecture. He is the principal architect at Keenan & Sveiven where architects, builders and homeowners recognize him and his team as the preferred landscape firm to call upon.


Tim Sveiven
co-founder/vice president
Tim is co-founder and Vice-President of Keenan & Sveiven, Inc. A 1977 graduate of the landscape technology program at Anoka Technical College, Tim has over 35 years of experience in the landscape field. Since the start of Keenan & Sveiven in 1990 he has overseen field operations, from managing crews to dispatching material and equipment.


Todd Irvine
Landscape Architect

A native of the Chicago area, Todd worked summers in his youth at a small nursery near his home planting and tending crops for landscape use. From there, he developed his professional landscaping experience by working as a landscape architect at several reputable firms across the Midwest. A graduate of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, Todd’s portfolio includes 30 years leading teams on commercial and high-end residential projects. His penchant for insightful design, careful planning and exacting execution has earned him a first-rate reputation among clients in the Twin Cities area.



Bob Wallace
Landscape Architect

An award-winning landscape designer, Bob is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Landscape Architecture. Bob was first drawn to landscaping and architectural design after working his way through school, first at a nursery and then in an architecture firm. He is experienced with everything from the challenges of small spaces to the expanses of large estate projects. Bob has a passion for meeting client expectations by delivering landscape designs that reflect the unique character of individual outdoor spaces and managing all aspects of the project.



Catherine Riley
Landscape Architect

A Minnesota native, Catherine holds a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota. As an undergraduate student in London, Catherine was inspired by such world-famous landscape designs as those featured at Kew’s Royal Botanic Gardens and the Kyoto Garden at Holland Park. She also drew inspiration from the rich mix of wooded parks and diverse flora native to the English microclimate. Today, Catherine enjoys helping clients visualize their final product by building 3D models of client proposals using state of the art modeling software.



Becky Miller
Office Manager
More like Awesome Manager, Becky has 15 years of experience in the landscape industry, 11 with Keenan & Sveiven. Prior to landscape, Becky was involved in public school administration and coaching. No wonder everything runs smoothly behind the scenes!


Ann Zimmer

Bookkeeping/accounting

Ann has served Keenan & Sveiven in the bookkeeping role for the past 25 years. Her sphere includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, banking and tax work.
