Jason has been in the landscape business for over 20 years. Shortly after he joined Keenan & Sveiven 16 years ago, there was no doubt in his mind that this company was a great fit. That is as true today as it was then.
Jason’s quality workmanship and thorough planning have allowed him many opportunities to work closely on projects with great clients, trusted subcontractors and skilled crews. Ashley Laffen
Vice President/Director of Business Administration
After completing her bachelor’s degree in business marketing, Ashley gained professional experiences in many areas of business including management and human resources. As a new owner, Ashley officially joined the team in February 2024. She is excited to bring her business experience and enthusiasm for people to this talented team to support, nurture and build into the future at Keenan & Sveiven.
Kevin Keenan

Co-founder of Keenan & Sveiven Inc., Kevin has over 30 years of landscape design experience in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Kevin is a 1981 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Landscape Architecture. He is the design principle at Keenan & Sveiven, a resource that architects, builders and homeowners recognize as a preferred landscape firm to call upon.
A native of the Chicago area, Todd worked summers in his youth at a small nursery near his home planting and tending crops for landscape use. From there, he developed his professional landscaping experience by working as a landscape architect at several reputable firms across the Midwest. A graduate of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, Todd’s portfolio includes 30 years leading teams on commercial and high-end residential projects. His penchant for insightful design, careful planning and exacting execution has earned him a first-rate reputation among clients in the Twin Cities area.
An award-winning landscape designer, Bob is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Landscape Architecture. Bob was first drawn to landscaping and architectural design after working his way through school, first at a nursery and then in an architecture firm. He is experienced with everything from the challenges of small spaces to the expanses of large estate projects. Bob has a passion for meeting client expectations by delivering landscape designs that reflect the unique character of individual outdoor spaces and managing all aspects of the project.
Tiffani Navratil, PLA
Landscape Architect and Project Manager
A Minnesota-native with a love of global travel, Tiffani finds inspiration from a wealth of resources such as geology, ecology, architecture, and art. Living abroad provided her with a unique perspective which inspires her design work and her 15+ year teaching career as an adjunct faculty member at both the University of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota’s College of Design. Tiffani’s commitment to excellence in design and project execution transforms client vision into reality.
DAVID TUPPER
Landscape Architect
Minnesota born and raised, David Tupper has practiced landscape architecture for over 35 years and is a licensed Landscape Architect. David has worn many hats along the way including landscape laborer, park superintendent, full time landscape architect and entrepreneur. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, David’s professional work includes residential, commercial, and residential development projects. For David, landscape architecture is a creative connection that blends together home, land, and an owners vision. He is committed to improving the quality of his clients everyday life and the experience they enjoy within their surroundings.
Surrounded by the lakes and rivers of his native Otter Tail County, John’s appreciation of the sounds, colors and textures of Minnesota’s natural beauty has only grown with his success as a landscape architect and designer. John is a graduate of ISU in Ames, IA where he earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. His project book includes site design and development of high-end residential, commercial, residential subdivisions, golf courses, water features and custom amenities. From broad-stroke conceptual planning to graceful structures, he skillfully executes the intricate details essential to careful and thoughtful projects
