Marine on St. Croix

This private campus is complete: an art studio for him, meditation studio for her, creekside sauna, swimming pool, pool house and guest quarters which are set apart from the main house. We teamed up with SALA Architects and landscape architect Jason Aune to assist in landscape design development, construction detailing and building. Hundreds of feet of dry-stacked stone walls were a unifying element, along with rustic details such as the old-fashioned, tire-track road leading to the guest house. The centerpiece, a granite pool and patio area, ajoins a heavily beamed arbor and bluestone inlay “area rug” fronting a bluestone fireplace.
